Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer

Aquarix Marine serves as an informational bridge and technology platform connecting qualified seafarers with maritime recruiters, shipowners, managers, and maritime corporate employers for Sea and Shore opportunities.

Non-Liability for Job Openings & Employment Matters:

• Third-Party Listings: Aquarix Marine is not an employer, crewing agent, or manning agency unless expressly stated under formal corporate contract. We do not guarantee employment, vessel placement, interview calls, or hiring outcomes for candidates.
• Accuracy of Job Data: While we strive for accuracy, job specifications, wage scales, joining dates, vessel particulars, and contract terms are supplied by third-party recruiters and are subject to immediate change without prior notice.
• Candidate Due Diligence: Candidates are strictly urged to independently verify employer credentials, RPSL numbers, flag state endorsement validity, and contract stipulations prior to signing any maritime employment agreement (SEA) or shore contract.
• Zero Liability: Aquarix Marine, its founders, and operators shall NOT be liable or held responsible for any disputes, wage discrepancies, contract breaches, recruitment fraud by third parties, travel disruptions, or losses arising from interactions with listed employers or recruiters.

Our platform provides various marine engineering and nautical calculators (e.g., Under Keel Clearance (UKC) estimators, IMO DCS / CII carbon intensity tools, bunker calculations, machinery diagnostic guides, and voyage estimators).

All calculators and computational tools are provided strictly for educational, estimation, and preliminary advisory purposes only. They are not approved substitutes for vessel-specific stability software (Loading Computers), type-approved bridge/engine equipment, official manufacturer manuals, or classification society calculation booklets.

• No Warranty of Precision: We do not warrant or guarantee that calculations, output figures, or algorithms are error-free, exhaustive, or accurate for any specific vessel geometry, hull condition, water density, or dynamic sea state.
• No Operational Liability: Aquarix Marine expressly disclaims any liability for wrong answers, mathematical inaccuracies, rounding discrepancies, or flawed estimates generated by any tool.
• No Liability for Vessel or Financial Losses: Under no circumstances shall Aquarix Marine be held liable for any marine casualty, grounding, collision, cargo damage, machinery breakdown, voyage delay, off-hire claim, port state control (PSC) detention, or environmental penalty arising out of or related to reliance on calculations performed on this website.
• On-Device Local Records & Deletion: Any computation inputs, recent calculation logs, or tool states are stored purely in your local browser cache (`localStorage`) and are not stored on our servers. You may wipe or delete these records at any time using in-tool reset buttons or via your browser cache settings.
• Mandatory Verification: The vessel’s Master, Chief Engineer, and Officer of the Watch maintain sole and undelegated responsibility for verifying all operational parameters using certified shipboard documentation.

Aquarix Marine offers structured study materials, examiner viva case scenarios, statutory MCQ question banks, regulatory updates, and maritime news articles.

• No Guarantee of 100% Correctness: While we ensure all reasonable diligence and technical peer-review in preparing study notes, MCQs, and editorial insights, Aquarix Marine does not guarantee 100% correctness, completeness, or absolute error-free accuracy. Regulations, numerical formulas, and examiner interpretation criteria vary across administrations.
• Dynamic Regulations: Maritime rules, flag administration circulars, and examiner assessment guidelines are subject to continuous statutory amendments. Content on our platform reflects prevailing standards at the time of authoring and may not always reflect immediate statutory changes.
• Obligation to Verify Facts: Users, maritime students, and competency candidates are explicitly advised and expected to cross-verify all facts, statutory references, formulas, and oral answers against official IMO publications, national maritime administration guidelines (e.g., DGS circulars, UK MCA Marine Notices), and classification rules before sitting for examinations or applying concepts onboard.
• No Guarantee of Exam Results: We make no warranties or representations regarding candidate examination performance, pass rates, or certificate issuance. Aquarix Marine shall not be held responsible for candidate exam results or oral evaluation outcomes.
• Local Test Scores & History: MCQ practice scores and checklist progress are saved strictly on your local browser/computer and can be reset or deleted at any time through your browser's data settings.
